The Pharaoh’s magicians and wisemen can’t figure the dreams out, but the cupbearer finally remembers Joseph. The Pharaoh sends for him.  Joseph give credit to God for the dream and his interpretation.

He says that Egypt will have 7 years of plenty and then 7 years of famine. The Pharaoh is so impressed that he puts Joseph in charge of Egypt to deal with it, makes him his 2nd in command and give him a wife from the high priest’s daughter, Asenath. Then Joseph goes out and has Egypt save up food until the famine comes and then Egypt has plenty.
